APW - Hamilton, 11J, "Constant, St. Louis" marked mvt, "Mermod Jaccard & Co, St. Louis" marked dial, 18S, nickel OF display case with Hamilton marked bezels, white enamel SS dial, SW-LS, nickel damascene, s#23498. A very rare watch, Hamilton's total production of 11 jewel movements was very limited and the total production of this nickel damascene open face version is estimated to be only 94 made.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, bright lustrous surfaces, some scattered micro-fine scratches, oxide to regulator assembly; dial with some scattered light hls, some perimeter rub under bezel; fine hands, oxide to spade of hour, finish loss to seconds-hand; case shows light wear, some fine scratches and small nicks, no dents; tight bow, crown shows light wear; good glass crystals with some glue excess evident at their seats.
